Fake news is poor stuff when purveyed by a journalist but is incredibly dangerous for a PM with the power of war or peace at his fingertips.
Take for example the fake news that Johnson wants to "get round" the Northern Ireland protocol and ditch the Good Friday Agreement and 22 years of Peace. It may well all be bluff and bluster on his part but there are parties who take this seriously.
Time for the Tories and their voters to grow up and act like adults.
