Some women like to wear make up for themselves and if more women are taking control of that and meeting the diverse needs of other women surely that’s a good thing, and if a woman and a man pursue a goal together surely that’s a good thing too?

Searching for perfection in every societal development, unpicking the ‘problematic’ from the positive, is no more meaningful, and probably less cheering, than looking for perfection in one’s own appearance.
