Thursday: Waiting for a Letter

 

Thursday waiting  for the postman

waiting for a letter

waiting for some news

having such a pleasure

in opening up a letter

then sitting down

in a big armchair

with some biscuits

and a warm cup of tea

then read the news

such delight in holding words

the tactile feeling

of  communications

then take a pencil

and some paper

and with a stamp

and an envelope

will soon now reply
