The Puffins in Argyll, Scotland

Puffins

In Argyll there are many a Puffin.

A great place to get really very close to Puffins is on some of the Islands.

There is many an island in Argyll

however the islands

of Lunga (Treshnish Isles)

and Staffa

are wonderful places

to encounter Puffins.

They could still be seen today

for the Puffins arrive

in number around April.

The Puffins stay for just a few months.

The best way to see them

would be to take  a boat trip

from Mull beside Iona.

Those boat trips

visit those islands

of Staffa and Lunga.

You would only be given a few hours ashore.

Whilst there

you could see in addition to those Puffins,

  would be guilemots,

razorbills, shags

and kittiwakes.
