Today is the Solstice,

the Dies Natalis Invicta Solis.

The slow arduous return of the Light.

The mention of the Curlew

and the call of foxes

gives me hope

as Nature brings us new life.

These are dark days in so many ways.

Time to celebrate...if we can. Safely!!!

There was once  a nice story .

A newspaper headline.

"Fog in Channel. Continent cut off!"

Today, perhaps a reversal?

"Bug in Channel. Britain cut off!"

Meanwhile,

listen for the sounds of Nature,

foxes and our future curlews.
