The beginnings of the weekend
with rain and gales of wind
a glance out of the window
with leaves billowing astray
All is good
A sleepy sun still sleeps
As we emerge so early
A breakfast in darkness
Sunshine only within
all is good
Loch Long on one side with the River Clyde on the other
We see them from our house on the hill of the peninsula
Happy in nature given by all the wonderful things around
Pleasure that this day that has started with dreams to fulfill
