English Conservatives outsourcing everything

Not for the first time, the English Conservative dogma and obsession with outsourcing everything including thought and presentation is costing lives and money. Johnson has even outsourced his Prime Ministership to Cummings and intends outsourcing his briefings too.

The problems with public sector delivery of services was always their huge monolithic, organisations, remote from real people. But, instead of making services more localised they stripped local authority of funds and gave huge contracts to huge, monolithic private organisations that were remote from real people and, in addition, took profits and hid behind contract confidentiality.
