Far from being the new Churchill, Johnson is in fact

the new Neville Chamberlain, with Cummings as his new Lord Halifax.

These two 1930s appeasers ignored the threats and warnings of German rearmament and Nazi aggression just as Johnson and Cummings ignored the warnings of the likelihood of a viral pandemic and the threat posed by the Coronavirus once it arrived here.
Chamberlain and Halifax were swept aside by Churchill when the terrible reality

of the Nazi threat could no longer be ignored.
Unfortunately, while Johnson, propped up by our ‘free press’, waffles, censors stuff that shows him for what he is, looks behind him for the baying mob of overgrown schoolboys no longer there and pretends to be Churchill, we are still waiting for him to be swept aside and a real leader to take over and sort this deadly mess out.
