Rules of movement

Motorised vehicles - give way to public transport
Public transport - give way to bicycles and mobility scooters.
Bicycles and mobility scooters - give way to pedestrians and wheelchair users.

Runners - give way to walkers (unless they have already given way)

Try and run apart from other people - it is more enjoyable.
Keep an absolute minimum of two metres apart.
Look ahead and plan your route of avoidance.
Where people are blocking pathways, gates etc ask politely to come through.
Take a deep breath when you pass close to people.
Run to the upwind side (purely selfish of course)
