Face mask - Vital today

Face mask - Vital today

Wearing a face mask helps

so that you don’t get sick –

It is important to realise that viruses

can also transmit through your  eyes

so it could help to wear spectacles

 or  even googles.

Virus is made up of  tiny viral particles, they can go through and penetrate masks  just like an aerosol.

Masks are brilliant and really  effective at capturing droplets.

Droplets are the main transmission route of coronavirus,  so wearing a mask would be an effective detterant.

Wearing a mask really cuts the chance of the disease being passed on especially

if  you are likely to be in close contact with someone infected.

If you’re showing symptoms of coronavirus, or have been diagnosed, wearing a mask can also protect others.

So masks are crucial for health and social care workers looking after patients and are also recommended for family members who need to care for someone who is ill – ideally both the patient and carer should have a mask.

Masks will probably make little difference if you’re just walking around the  town unless you want to protect

 from smog and air pollution.

Masks when wearing are not being more common for very good reasons
