Camping

I always found that camping for a few days
or longer allowed me to adjust to a rhythm
that matched the passage of time.
I would get up earlier, as it became light, went to bed earlier,
as it became dark;
I would know where the sun was going to be at certain times of the day, seeking shade or warmth, and I would become aware of the direction from which changes in the weather were arriving; clouds or clear sky could be seen sometimes hours before arriving once you realised where it was coming from and going to
