The Joy of living in rural Scotland is fishing.

Fishing and hunting are pleasures for Scots

Fishing is the bounty of the  healthy oceans

Fish  that often begin in our Scottish rivers

Spawned as just wee tiddlers they travel

Fish that travel the world on an adventure

Before they return to Scotland to have mates

We have often  teeming Scottish fish  shoals  

Yet the world of sea is now filled with plastic

Plastic everywhere - Everywhere is plastics

big and wee  plastic bottles in the ocean

micro even more micro plastic bubbles

they wee fish eat up all the micro plastics 

with the big fish gorging on the big  plastic 

The fish get chocked and die on the plastic

So many of the Scottish fish die of plastic

So many of the  Scottish Wild Salmon before

Now a trickle that may soon even be extinct

All for this modern city live that kills for progress

This idyllic life of Rural Scotland threatened by plastic
