Picking Mushrooms

Picking Mushrooms is a joy in the Autumn

So many things to do in a busy world

Yet there is a delight in finding mushrooms.

A walk in the woods with friends is profitable

Whenever we encounter with bountiful mushrooms in the the carpet forest.

Those that we can use in the kitchen

when we return.

Those that we could dry so that

we can use them later in the year.

Mushrooms are great in a lovely toast combination

Or perhaps in a wild mushroom soup.

So many things that add taste and character

to so much that we cook.

So a Mushroom hunt we are on

and we are going to find a big one.

Oh What a beautiful day.
