For anyone who is interested in learning Scottish Gaelic, there are two programs available on Youtube to watch that will give you a good understanding of the language. "Can Seo" and "Speaking our Language"
They are old TV programs that used to air. Can Seo is from the late 70s and Speaking Our Language is from the 90s, but they are both still valuable to watch now.
Can Seo is much better at explaining Gaelic grammar, whereas Speaking Our Language is great for building vocabulary.
Here are links to the first episodes of the respective programs.

The whole Speaking Our Language is available at learngaelic.net along with a ton of other free resources, including an online dictionary with audio files for many words.
Can Seo, despite being well-produced and having a Runrig recording for its intro, didn't run as long as SOL.
The latter had four series and covers some pretty advanced conversational Gaelic.
SOL is really an excellent resource for both learning Gaelic and laughing at what people were wearing in Scotland in the 1990s.
