Prison Service
in the United Kingdom
is Suffering
under Private Control
Starve a public service of (our) funding.
Allow it to collapse.
Rely on the media to sell privatisation as the solution.
Hand the service to corporate private profiteers.
Start pumping public money back into it.
It's a giant scam.
The public get ripped off again,
but a few get very rich.
This will continue to happen
for as long as we allow it to.
Running down public services to the point of collapse is a precursor to the imposition of ever more
authoritarian rule.
Fasten your seat belts. It's gonna be a bumpy ride
This problem is the Tories and belongs to the Tories. Created under the false pretence of austerity.
A false and needless austerity accelerated by incompetent ministers such as failing Grayling, Gove and every single Tory minister as not one spoke against the privatisation of prisons which fostered a lack of accountable and the continual reward of failing and incompetent contractors with greater sums of money.
And as for the prisons minister, "Rory Stewart, a semi-amateur politician," that is how much the Tories think and value the need for change.
Real change should result in the sacking of G4S and restoring public ownership of prisons to the public.
That is where we will find real and meaningful change...

As for the Tories, they will not be satisfied until they have raped and pillage every section of society until there is nothing left to sustain a depleting infrastructure which promotes growth.
Sod the lot of them.
A Government spokesperson said "We do not accept your facts, which is why we will continue to pursue the same path because there is no credible opposition and the gullible will lap it up hahahaha..........."
Perhaps we should 'outsource' prison services to offshore countries who might do a better job cheaper.
Maybe China could help?
Or I gather Singapore does a very fine prison service, with no drugs problem?
Maybe some African countries could help out?
I'm pretty sure there are some who would
welcome the revenue.
In any event, it makes no sense to have prisons taking up valuable real estate in major cities.
