Seen on a pond on a summer's day.
A great water-beetle has the larva, which is also a terrible beast of prey. besides being able to kill tadpoles it can kill quite sizeable fish.
The Dragon-fly is also a formidable creature which competes in ferocity with the great water-beetles.
It can rapidly shoot out its ask on its long arm to capture its prey.
