September for the garden

September is a busy month in the garden:

think next year’s bulbs and sweet peas,

sow coriander, plant up winter pots 

But of course there is a choice ..........

I love a certain quality of silence in autumn,

sunshine on reddish brown golden leaves,

Staying there enjoying the softness of the air

...and do absolutely nothing !
